Billing is done on a monthly basis as per the mutually agreed rate card.

Turnkey Projects

We execute end to end turnkey projects for the customers, when the scope of work is well defined.

Deliverables and payments are linked to mutually agreed milestones.

We jointly work with our customers & partners for the research and development of novel advanced shift-left methodologies. In such joint development projects, we do co-investment and jointly own the intellectual property.

Why CircuitSutra

SoC Modelling requires unique skills which are a combination of computer science & semiconductors. 

Most of our customers come with a chip design background, and are very comfortable in microarchitecture design using RTL, but are not used to object oriented programming at higher abstraction level using C++. Or sometimes it is the other way, customer teams have expertise in embedded software using C / C++, but no idea of chip design.

Just learning the language SystemC / C++ is not sufficient, it is necessary to have an in-depth understanding of the abstraction level required for specific use cases. Models for virtual prototyping will be quite different from models for performance analysis or high-level synthesis. Companies struggle to see the benefits of these methodologies, as the models they develop are not fully fine tuned for their specific use case, or they tend to develop generic models which they think can be used for all use cases.

Our in-depth understanding of these ESL methodologies combined with customer’s knowledge of their specific domains and SoC architecture, makes it a powerful combination and ensures the successful adoption.

We have a highly effective ramp up program through which we are able to groom the expert modelling professionals. Our re-usable modelling infrastructure, reference models and reference virtual platforms are utilized in this ramp up.
