 SystemC Modeling for Virtual Prototype Development - Beginner Level

​SystemC is a very versatile language to develop models for various use cases. Using SystemC you can develop the models as accurate as RTL, or as fast as real hardware or even faster than that in some scenarios. To effectively deploy SystemC in your design flow, just learning the language is not enough, you need to gain expertise in developing the models for your specific use case.

The objective of this training is to impart the right knowledge and skills that enables you to get started with developing SystemC models for virtual prototyping*. In addition to SystemC language you will also learn the idioms and techniques to make the models suitable for virtual prototypes.

This training is hatched from CircuitSutra’ s tried and tested internal ramp up program which is highly effective for grooming non-SystemC professionals to become modeling experts

*Virtual prototypes are the fast simulation of models of SoC and system. These are used for pre-silicon embedded software development, SoC level & System level co-design and co-verification, automated unit testing of firmware, architecture exploration etc..

Target Audience
This is a beginner's level training module, targeted for the semiconductor industry professionals who want to get started with Virtual Platform development using SystemC

Prerequisite 
Candidates should have good expertise in C++ programming and basic understanding of SoC architecture
Exposure to any HDL and simulation concepts will be helpful
